Cancellation Policy
Payment
Full payment is taken at the time of booking to confirm your reservation. There is no separate deposit or balance — your stay is paid in full upfront.
Cancellation by you
Cancellations made more than 30 days before arrival: full refund minus the 5% booking fee. Cancellations 14–30 days before arrival: 50% refund. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival: no refund. Refunds are processed within 7 working days.
Cancellation by Otium
In the unlikely event that we must cancel your booking, we will contact you immediately and issue a full refund including any booking fees. We will also make every effort to rebook you at an alternative site or alternative dates.
Force majeure
We cannot accept responsibility for cancellations due to extreme weather, road closures, government restrictions, or events beyond our control. In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to offer a rebooking at no extra cost.
Track conditions
If we determine that the access track to your site is not safely passable within 48 hours of your arrival, we will contact you with the options to rebook at no charge or to receive a full refund.
How to cancel
Email hello@otiumescapes.org with your booking reference. We will confirm the cancellation and refund (where applicable) within 24 hours.
